    ● Many schools in low-income areas struggle with outdated textbooks, insufficient technology, and inadequate facilities. We must invest more in these communities to level the playing field.

  • Support small business, workforce training and fair chance hiring

    ● Increased funding to provide direct financial assistance through grants for startups or expanding small businesses

    ● Simplifying licensing procedures, reducing paperwork, and cutting through bureaucratic red tape

    ● Advocate for funding that supports workforce training that uplifts families out of poverty

    ● Advance fair chance hiring practices with employers that will contribute to reducing the stigma associated with having a criminal record, promoting a more inclusive and just community

  • Support community policing models built on trust and accountability

    ● Emphasize training in non-violent conflict resolution and de-escalation tactics for all officers

    ● Officers engage with community members through regular meetings, events, and patrols, not just during emergencies.

    ● Partner with local community groups to address underlying issues such as poverty, homelessness, and mental health
